Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Maestro AI Search Bar do?

It replaces basic keyword search with AI that understands what shoppers mean. A shopper can type a request in plain words, and Maestro reads the intent, surfaces the right products, writes helpful sales copy, and answers buying questions, then ties every search to the revenue it drives.

How is this different from default Shopify search?

Default search matches keywords. Maestro understands intent, so a query like "elegant pastel bouquet for a 10th anniversary under 60" returns the right products even when those exact words are not in your product titles. It also explains why each result fits and answers follow-up questions.

Do I need to tag or restructure my catalog?

No. Maestro reads your existing products, descriptions, and collections. There is no manual tagging, synonyms list, or rules engine to maintain.

Where does the search bar appear on my store?

You choose. Maestro can auto-detect your theme header, mount inline at a specific spot, show a sticky bar, or use a header icon. The placement is configurable for both desktop and mobile.

Will it slow down my storefront?

No. The widget loads asynchronously and does not block your page. It is designed to render quickly and stay out of the way until a shopper searches.

How do you measure search-driven revenue?

Maestro attributes orders to the search sessions that led to them using a first-party session identifier, then reports engagement, conversion, and the revenue influenced by search in your dashboard.

    What about shopper privacy?

Maestro processes search queries to power the experience and uses a first-party attribution cookie that stores only a random session ID. It does not sell personal data. See our privacy policy for details.

Which languages and markets are supported?

Maestro handles natural-language search across multiple languages and adapts results to your store markets.

    How do I get started?

Install the app, confirm where the search bar should appear, and Maestro indexes your catalog automatically. See the tutorial for a step-by-step walkthrough.
